Vision

To produce engineering professionals of world class competence with emphasis on value based technical skills, inculcating applied research, innovation and entrepreneurial skills in the areas of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering to lead technical, economic and social development of the society.

Program Outcomes (POs):

PO1 Engineering Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of basic concepts of mathematics, science and engineering.

PO2 Problem Analysis: Identify, review research literature, analyze, formulate and solve complex mechanical engineering problems.

PO3 Design & Development of Solutions: Model, analyze, design and realize physical systems, components and processes.

PO4 Investigation of Complex Problem: Use research based knowledge and research methods to plan and conduct experimental programs and evaluate the results.

PO5 Modern Tools Usage: Use of modern engineering tools, software’s and equipment to analyze and solve complex engineering problems.

PO6 Engineer and Society: Apply engineering solutions to asses’ societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues.

PO7 Environment & Sustainability: Provide mechanical engineering solutions to green and sustainable development.

PO8 Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities of the engineering practices. 

PO9 Individual & Team work: Function effectively as an individual and as a member/leader of a diverse team to accomplish common goals.

Program Educational Objectives (Mechanical)

PEO1: To provide students with a sound foundation in the mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems and to prepare them for graduate studies.

PEO2: To promote student awareness of life-long learning and to introduce them to professional ethics and codes of professional practice.

PEO3: To develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts for application to core areas of mechanical engineering.

PEO4: To prepare students for successful careers in industry that meet the needs of Indian and multinational companies.

PEO5: To provide opportunity for students to work as part of teams on multidisciplinary projects.

Program Educational Objectives (Civil)

PEO1: To provide thorough understanding of engineering fundamental concepts & create a base for lifelong learning for their personal and organizational growth.

PEO2: To provide analytical skills to investigate, analyze and develop solutions for present and future issues of industry & society.

PEO3: To make students proficient in using the modern tools & techniques along with good communication & interpersonal skills so as to fulfill their professional responsibilities.

PEO4: To foster research interest through collaboration with industries and other institutions, by providing opportunities to face real life challenges.

PEO5: To inculcate ethical practices among students so as to make them responsible towards the environment and sustainable development of the nation.

Program Specific Outcomes (Mechanical Engineering)

PSO1: To be able to apply the concepts of economics and costing in providing effective solutions to mechanical engineering problems.

PSO2: To be able to work in the software industry in the areas of Design and development of software tools such as AUTOCAD, Solidworks, Ansys etc.

PSO3: To be able to Work in power plants, manufacturing and automobile industries in the area of operation and maintenance.

Program Specific Outcomes (Electrical Engineering)

PSO1: Knowledge & Technical Skills: An ability to understand the basic concepts in electrical & electronics engineering and to apply them to areas like renewable energy, power systems, signal processing embedded systems, VLSI, communications and nanotechnology etc. in the design and implementation of complex systems. 

PSO2: Problem solving & professional skills: An ability to solve complex electrical and electronics engineering problem using latest hardware and software tools along with analytical skills to arrive at cost effective & appropriate solutions. 

PSO3: Successful career: An understanding of social awareness & environmental wisdom along with ethical responsibility to have successful career & to sustain passion and zeal for real world applications using optimal resources as an entrepreneur. 

Program Specific Outcomes (Civil Engineering)

PSO1: To become proficient in fundamentals of engineering including mainly the planning and designing of the building structure, roads, sewage, water supply networks and other components of the infrastructure system considering environmental, safety & health aspects.

PSO2: To be able to use modern tools, techniques and software to solve complex engineering problems.

PSO3: To be able to prepare BOQ, cost estimation and execute the projects in line with set project goals.
